Can Intrabank offer experts on Treating Customers Fairly?

Lawyers and Experts may expect to see a lot more cases under this general heading in the future. The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has been promoting firms to incorporate this principle at the heart of their business and in their dealings with clients at every stage of the process – before, during and after the sale. Recent feedback suggests that although excellent individual company plans have been written, frequently these have not been implemented or followed through. What information do you need to decide on the right expert?

A brief summary of the key features of the case approved by the appropriate partner. The time spent on preparing a brief but accurate summary eliminatessuch misunderstandings. This not only ensures the fastest identification of the right expert but, in the long run, also saves valuable time within the law firm.

Should my client be concerned about details being passed outside the lawyer - client relationship?

The initial brief need not identify your client. Obviously once Intrabank takes on the assignment, the selected expert will need sufficient information to enable him to undertake the role to the satisfaction of you and your client. Nevertheless, confidentiality is assured (subject of course to any legal obligations).

Will you carry out legal aid work?

Do you operate in Scotland?

Recognising that Scotland has a different legal code, Intrabank has established a dedicated Scottish division presently administered from Cumbria. Local experts have been recruited as Associates and of course, English counterparts can always be called upon if needed.

Intrabank operates on an international basis. We are particularly focused on Europe but other territories in which we have had an involvement include Hong Kong, Singapore and the U.S.A. Through our experts we also have specialist knowledge of many other territories. Although we have access to local experts, many of our international experts are based in London, or elsewhere in the UK. This means they are truly independent and not subject to local relationship problems, prejudices, political influences, conflicts of interest or any other local pressures.
